Nor'easter Press is a newly established publisher of professional, academic reference, education, trade, and general interest books in the areas of naval architecture, boatbuilding, yachting, maritime history, and the marine sciences. Our Textbook Division specializes in publication of elementary, high school, and college textbooks in all major subjects. Those interested in submitting a book proposal to Nor'easter Press are invited to do so as follows.
 
The typed proposal should include a summary of the work, its purpose, and its intended audience; a detailed table of contents (i.e., proposed chapter titles accompanied by chapter summaries); and a note about the author's background and experience. Please do not send manuscript or text files of chapters or original artwork/illustrations. Enclose the above with a cover letter that includes contact information and mail to the publisher at the address below. Authors or their agents may call or e-mail to alert us to the proposal or may call or e-mail with inquiries. Proposals, however, should not be sent by e-mail.
